Who we are
Derbyshire Home Quotes is an independent quote-matching service operated by Calvin Michael Redfern, based in Derbyshire, UK. Contact: help@derbyshirehomequotes.co.uk.
What we collect
We collect the details you give us, including your name, phone number, email, project postcode, project type, preferred materials, approximate size, budget, timing, project notes and identifying business details for contractors you tell us you have already contacted, such as a company name, website or business phone number. We also collect basic technical and source information needed to protect the form from misuse and understand how requests arrive.
Why we use it
- To assess and respond to your quote request.
- To match the request with a relevant driveway or groundworks contractor.
- To avoid knowingly introducing you to a business you have already contacted.
- To prevent spam, fraud and misuse.
- To keep records, improve the service and meet legal obligations.
Our lawful bases
We rely on your consent to share your contact and project details with matched contractors. We rely on legitimate interests to operate, secure and improve the service, provided those interests do not override your rights. Where necessary, we process data to comply with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent for future sharing by contacting us.
Who receives your details
We share a quote request with one matched contractor at a time, and with no more than three contractors for the same request if earlier contractors cannot help. Each contractor becomes responsible for how they use the data they receive. OpenAI hosts the website, Make handles form automation, Google stores lead records and delivers lead notifications, and Fasthosts provides our business email. We do not sell your details for unrelated marketing.
How long we keep it
We plan to keep quote-request records for up to 12 months after the last activity, then delete or anonymise them unless a longer period is required for a dispute or legal obligation. Contractor-partner records are kept while the relationship is active and for up to six years afterwards where needed for business and tax records.
International transfers
Our service providers may process information outside the UK. Where UK data-protection law requires it, we rely on recognised transfer safeguards used by those providers.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or transfer of your information, and can withdraw consent at any time. Contact help@derbyshirehomequotes.co.uk. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
